Thanks Give In
Take two, oven mitt
Remember, remove giblets
Lest tradition fixed
—
There’s always a first. This challenge got me with the notion that “[v]ariety in writing projects keeps things fresh and interesting.” That and during the final week of Nanowrimo, a haiku isn’t a bad way to get a post in!
One thing I learned – less is more, but only if you make it that way. Haikus are not easy, and like our Thanksgiving traditions (most of which are born out of convenience), both take work to really stick. What makes tradition, anyway?
If it’s two years in a row, I’m afraid giblets are in (literally, cooked in the turkey but this time by design).
A warm and happy Thanksgiving to all. May your turkeys come stuffed with stories, and your potatoes mashed with characters. This is the time for stories to be told, and more importantly written down. Gobble gobble.

Gobble Tov!
Don’t have that problem with a tofurkey. Just saying. 😉
Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
“…but this time by design.” Smiling here. Done that. 🙂 Thanks for your holiday wishes, Dominic. The same returned, many fold, for you and your family.
